From the pageantry of the Grand Floral Parade, to the charisma of the Community Queens, the Blossomtime Festival has captured the spirit of Southwest Michigan since the turn of the 20th century. Join us for an afternoon of local history at Lake Michigan College, as we explore the lore of this cherished event. Historian Jayson Otto will discuss the history of Blossomtime, and collections manager Olivia Beebe, and archivist Neave Carroll will highlight archival work and showcase artifacts, archives, and ephemera from the Israelite House of David Archives & Collections.
