External Email: Use Caution Barbara, Thanks for working with us to make the event happen and for the introduction to Sonya (it’s great to meet you Sonya!). I’m looping in my colleagues Rachel and Jillian as they are part of the Cornerstone team, along with me, that is planning this event. Answering your questions as well as some other comments: • I think we’d prefer seminar style if at all possible, at least for this event. And I think the rooms that were pictured in Sonya’s email below would be the most ideal. • It would be great to max it out at 50 people! We are preparing an event registration form (similar to Eventbrite) so we will keep an eye on how many people register and ensure it’s capped at 50. • If there are companies you’d like to personally invite, please let us know! We are sending out a save-the-date email next week and we will begin registering people on August 27th (with another round of invites) Questions on our end: • Can we get Lake Michigan’s logo on file so we can include it in the overall presentation? • While it’s not needed now, can we get a parking map so we can inform attendees on where they need to park for the event? • Would it be possible for us to check out the space the week prior to the event just to get our eyes on it and make sure we’ve got the logistics all figured out? o If so, is there an ideal date and time for us to come by (assuming there are classes in there throughout the week)? • Since we are providing breakfast, would it be better/more feasible to provide it in the classroom or just outside the classroom? I think that’s everything I’ve got for now! @Rachel and @Jillian, please feel free to chime in if I’m missing anything or if you have any questions.
