Tue May 06 2025 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Event Description:
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program consists of six weeks in the classroom/lab and one week of clinicals in a local long-term care facility (98 hours, 7 weeks total). Classes may be offered in the morning or evening. Clinical shifts vary depending on location, instructor, and clinical site. Classes are scheduled at LMC Benton Harbor, LMC South Haven, and the Allegan Tech Center throughout the year. More information about total program costs, eligibility, third-party payments, and clinical requirements (such as immunizations, clinical compliance, and more) can be found in the CNA Registration Packet. Use the URL below to access a current copy of the Registration Packet, upcoming class schedules, and calendars via our Google Drive. Employers and Third-Party Agencies (i.e., MichiganWorks!): please contact LMC Health Sciences directly if you have any questions about enrolling a job seeker or billing for the class. NOTE: The CNA program is part of our Extended Education class offerings (formerly known as short-term training). These classes cannot be used to meet the requirements of credit/degree-granting programs. Financial aid is typically not available for Extended Education classes. Students may be eligible for support through services like Michigan Works! and West Michigan Works!, or State of Michigan Reconnect. Please refer directly to these agencies for information, eligibility, and deadlines.
