Science Book Club Spring 2025 Selection: "Weapons of Math Destruction" by Cathy O'Neil Join us for an enlightening exploration of how big data and algorithms shape our modern world! The Natural Science, Exercise Science, and Wellness Department, in collaboration with the Literacy and Numeracy Across the Curriculum Group, invites you to participate in this campus-wide reading initiative. About the Book "Weapons of Math Destruction" examines the hidden impact of algorithms on our daily lives - from education and job searching to financial decisions and beyond. This eye-opening book makes complex concepts accessible and reveals how data-driven decisions affect our society.
