Event Description:
Jumpstart Your Career With The Earn & Learn Internship Program Lake Michigan College’s Earn & Learn Internship Program connects students with real-world, paid internships right here in our community. Whether you're a student looking to kickstart your career or an employer eager to support and grow local talent, the Earn & Learn Internship program is your gateway. This Career Fair will feature all area employers who are offering internships in the program. Most internships are 20 hours a week for 12 weeks. Pay ranges from $15 - $20 an hour. Last year students gained experience at Fernwood Botanical Gardens, Boys & Girls Club, Tower Hill Camp, Fortress Technology, Berrien Community Foundation, Berrien Forward, Advantage Business Services, and Verde Juice Box. Students came from a variety of majors and interests, and all greatly benefited from their experience. The list of employers for 2026 will be published on January 20, 2026 and will be easily accessible through the Earn & Learn Collection in Handshake.
